EVERYTHING DiSC: WORK OF LEADERS
Using Vision, Alignment, and Execution to Elevate Your Leadership
THE WORK OF LEADERS MADE SIMPLE: VISION, ALIGNMENT, AND EXECUTION.
Everything DiSC Work of Leaders® is classroom training that uses online pre-work, engaging facilitation with contemporary video, and online follow-up to create a personalized learning experience. Based on best practices, Work of Leaders connects unique leadership styles to real-world demands, generating powerful conversations that provide clear paths for action..
Leaders have three fundamental responsibilities:
They craft a vision, they build alignment, and they champion execution.
Of course, there’s a lot of skill that goes into each of these responsibilities.
That is, in fact, what The Work of Leaders is all about.
The model outlines the three key things effective leaders do at each step, and identifies the specific behaviors for each.
V Crafting a Vision: imagining an improved future state that the group will make a reality through its work.
A Building Alignment: getting to the point where everyone in the group understands and is committed to the vision.
E Championing Execution: ensuring that the conditions are present for the imagined future to be turned into a reality.
The true value of this model is that it lays out a manageable, realistic framework to guide the process. The goal is to provide straightforward explanations of where you might choose to target your personal development efforts.
